1942-43 game-used bat. No model number on the knob, but based on the specs, it eventually became the M79. He received six late in the '42 season and three during '43 spring training... so there's a 67% chance it's a rookie bat.

That is just an incredible, rare bat, Jeff....awesome and hard to improve upon.
          Congrats!

At a show 5 years ago. When I told him I was going to put my arm around him for the photo but wasn't going to kiss him, he laughed and replied, "that's good!"

Poor man's version of a gamer, but still a nice autograph!

Nothing game used for me, but I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Musial once in a private setting and get a bat signed.

Here is one of my Musial items - the Post is one of my favorites it's huge bigger than a movie poster.

I picked this up about a week before Stan's passing...

A letter to a member of the Armed Services while Stan was GM in 1967.

                    Hope you all enjoy -

                    Smitty

                      Smitty:

That just isn't any member of the armed services, Warner Fusselle became a pretty famous baseball broadcaster in his own right (do you remember the ESPN show in the late 1980's called MLB Magazine?). Unfortunately, Warner passed away in 2012....

                        Thats a nice letter Chris.

Thanks for the additional info Bill. That makes the letter even more special. A letter prior to him becoming an announcer. Now wondering if this came from his Estate.
                        Regards,
                        Joel S.
