Thoughts on New MLB BP and "interview caps"

Due to MLB hearing of players not liking the fit of the the BP/Spring training hats, theya re relasing 59/50 spring training/bp hats starting this year. Also, they are going to have an optional "interview cap" that players can wear to do media itnerviews. I am sure some of those will get authenticated. "Used interview Cap for ESPN on April 3, 2013."

They all look a little to busy for my taste, but some look kind of nice. The Reds are pretty neat looking.

Every 2-4 years MLB switches up their BP hats to make more of a revenue stream, since many teams are resistant to alter their regular hats. I heard back in 2004 the Yankees and Red Sox make up about 40% of all MLB merchandise sales. I would think that has slightly shrunk since then, but with that type of old school logos and ideals, it has to eat away at more potential opportunites for MLB to grow their bottom line.

59/50 BP/ST caps have existed before, from 1999-2002, before the first of several 39/30 designs were introduced.
