Steiner's Mets/Yanks auction ended a few days ago. I was wondering if anyone walked away with good deals/steals. Some items I was interested in went for more than I expected--O'Neill's 2001 WS home jersey for instance

Not a steal, but I picked up Ron Guidry's 1986 road pants for $150. I have his 1986 Road jersey - completes a full uniform for me..........Jim

I put a bid in a while ago on a GU BB from one of Pedro's wins (don't know why they wouldn't take 30 seconds to confirm this and then advertise it as such.) I promptly forgot about it until I recieved my invoice.

I picked up a g/u Mets road jersey worn by pitcher Scott Strickland. I wouldn't say it was a steal, but it was under $200, which I would say is an alright price for a Steiner Mets piece these days.

I did see a couple of good buys later in the night, but I had spent all I intended to by then -- a Mets game used base from the 2006 20th anniversary of 1986 went for $115. I think this is about half of what it could have gone for. A couple of game used bases from Shea closed at prices of under $100.
