Barnstable Bat Co. Cape Cod. Mass.

I own a Chuck Knoblauch game used bat that I purchased from the Twins Pro Shop in 1997. The bat is a Barnstable Bat Company, Cape Cod. Mass. with a fish in the center logo. Does anyone have any information regarding the Barnstable Bat Company?

Here's a link to a story that should give you the information you are asking for: http://www.capecodcommonsense.com/mo...article&sid=24

Barnstable Bat Co. is Brushed Back by Major League Centerville Business is Pulling for a Comeback Before Next Season
    By Jeff Blanchard

The World Series is upon us, only this year, for the first time since 1995, there’s no use trying to search out the logo of the Barnstable Bat Company when your favorite Major League Baseball (MLB) players step up to the plate.

That’s because the family-owned company in Centerville took one on the chin from the MLB at the end of last season, when it was informed that in order to continue providing bats to guys like Trot Nixon, Chuck Knoblauch, Harold Baines and Mike Bordick, it would have to pony up about $60,000.

Thomas Bednark of the Barnstable Bat Company at work in his shop. “That’s about 20 percent of my gross,” says Thomas Bednark, who fashions ash and maple bats one-at-a-time in a sweet-smelling barn next to his house. The $60,000 down payment is comprised of a $10,000 licensing fee to MLB and the $50,000 premium to purchase a $15 million insurance policy required by the MLB....
