What do you guys think of this one? I have no knowledge of the vintage stuff...

Hey Samets,

Here are some photos of a Bears durene jersey in my collection that is from the 1960s. The sleeves on my jersey were originaly long sleeves and later shortened and hemmed by the team. I included a few photos of the inside of the jersey to show the number stitching. Also note that the tag on my jersey is located on the inside of the front tail.

At least from the photos, it looks pretty good. King O'Shea did supply the Bears (and Browns) for much of the 1960s.

Here are some better photo's that I personally took.

There is a repair that's most likely not a team job... Would anyone recommend me keeping as is or should I remove the thread and let it be as is?

If it were my jersey - I would NOT touch it and leave it "AS IS". But that's just me.

I agree. I would avoid restoration.

My sources tell me that Heritage will be auctioning a Brian Piccolo jersey, this August. The Piccolo is the same long-sleeved, King O'Shea styled shirt. Has there ever been another Piccolo on the market?

Correction. The Pic is a short-sleeved, durene, King O'Shea.

I bet that jersey will be out of my price range rather quickly...
