Bill Bird game used 1976 Liberty Bell bat

Does anyone know who Bill Bird is? I won a game used/issued Bill Bird 1976 Liberty Bell H&B bat, the auction number is 120047899413 (auction is over). I have been looking Birds name up and have found nothing on him, can someone help?

I saw that auction on ebay and I believe it stated in the auction that Bird was a minor league player that never made it to the majors. You can try the minor leagues baseball historical search.

Is that the search that cost $5 per search? I know he never made the majors, but I can't even find him in the Baseball card checklist book (has minor league cards). I also have the Standard baseball catolog, They also have minor league sets and he is not there either.

Bill R. Bird played from 1973-76 with the Gulf Coast League, California League, Florida State League, Midwest League, and Northwest League.

Bill D. Bird played from 1974-76 with the Pioneer League, California League, and Florida State League.

I know he played in the minors but what big league team was he apart of? I want to see if I can find a media guide, maybe he was a non roster invitee.

Neither Bird ever made it to the major league level. It appears that neither Bird made it past Class-A ball.

Bill D. Bird was a pitcher that played with Miami in the Florida State league in 1976.

Bill R. Bird played with Tampa in the FSL in 1976.

What Big League team has Miami as it's farm club? and the other teams listed? Do you have that information?

Also, I have another name for you: I have a 77-79 game used bat from Don Petersen. Don't have a clue who he played for?

They were the Miami Orioles. Tampa was the Tarpons and were a farm club of the Reds. Which other teams were you looking for?

Can you post a scan of the Petersen bat?
