American Memorabilia Auction- What gives?

I am new to the game used collecting and looked at the "American Memorabilia" Auction closing the 4th and noticed that no one was bidding-on anything?!
Any ideas why or why not or does everyone bid at the last second? I like Red Sox items and there is a Jim Rice bat and Papelbon Game used jersey, but am hesitant to bid due to lack of bidders in general for the whole auction.
Any thought or opinions you may have, please fill me in.

Use the search feature on the GUU forum for AMI or American Memorabilia ... read through the threads and determine your own comfort level with this company. And, as always, do your own homework on individual items you may be interested in as well.
