Where are all the Nolan Ryan Angels (1972-79) game jerseys?

Are there any Nolan Ryan game worn experts out there? I was wondering why we have only seen one jersey from 1972 and one jersey from 1973 hit the public auction block. From what I can tell, there are no other game worn jerseys from his time with the Angels that have hit the public market. Is this correct? If so, thoughts on why (e.g., maybe the Angels took most of their jerseys and sent them down to their farm teams).

Scott- I'm sure they have been in private collections for some time now. Just my guess.

It is quite possible that many knits from this era were stripped of NOB and numerals and recycled to the Minors. The homes could have easily been re-used with no change to the "Angels" name.

You have to be careful on these, as there are a number of McAuliffe jerseys with tags that never saw Ryan's locker floating around in the hobby.
