Vintage Authentics has a 1976 bat in the current auction however this bat has the model number on the knob and no bicentenniel liberty bell stamp. Steve Jensen indicates that this bat was ordered in 76 and early 76 bats did not have the liberty bell stamps. That said, then early 76 bats had model numbers stamped on the knobs verses on the barrel which was typical on bats after 75.
Anyone care to comment on this? If this is true that I learned something new about 1976 HB bats.
