I have a question: where does Steiner get their vintage material? I thought they were so popular because they get their material directly from the teams, especially the NY teams. Therefore, people pay a premium, which I can understand.
But where did they get a Leo Durocher auto BB? Or their other vintage material? What tremendous certainty do I have that their Durocher BB (which is going for about 3 times the normal price) is any better than anyone else's?
(And please don't ask me to call them and ask them. I've spoken with Steiner people 3 times, and they've been rude all 3)
