Pujols gamers not bid on

Any reason why at least one of these wouldn't have been bid on? @ of the 3 state that they can't be sure they were used by Pujols but the rest of the letter seems ot indicate they are.

Too much risk at that price. Pujols model bats used by teammates I think generally sell for 200-250 range nowadays... maybe higher or lower, but I'd think somewhere near there.

The first two have clear knob alterations and questionable use to attribute to Pujols. The third does not match Pujols characteristics at all. Based on the alterations and the inconsistency with Pujols characteristics, I'd think these bats would sell in the $100 range. I think the alterations to the knobs ruin the value of them as a teammate used bat. If they were clearly Pujols bats used by a MLB teammate, that would be more desirable than a really big question mark. Either way, at 400-500 I would say they are way overpriced. I think the lack of buyers reflects that assessment.

Just my 2 cents. I'd stay away, unless the price came way down and I really wanted a Pujols ordered bat.

I did see 2 of them say that they could not say they were used by Pujols. But the 3rd didn't mention it. Unless I overlooked it.

I was this close to buying one until I read the fine print (red flag).

Since these bats all come from the same seller I would assume they were probably acquired from the same person given the alterations. I have seen a few other Pujols bats with #19 on the knob, Matt Pagnozzi. My guess is the knob alterations were to remove another number. Not sure why they didn't do that on the second bat too. CW is correct....only buy if you want a Pujols "model" bat.

I did inquire with the seller and he said he bought them all from the same guy. By the sound of it, he got taxed for them.
