A very unique article of Mets memorabilia -- this is one of several large photos that hung in the corridors of SHEA STADIUM; this one in particular is from the Press Level. It is a massive 5 1/2 feet tall by 4 feet wide by 2 inches thick.
The photo is a classic Keith Hernandez fielding photo from 1987, where Keith is wearing his gray road jersey that features the Captain patch. That year, Keith won one of 11 consecutive Gold Glove Awards. He was also named the first captain in Mets team history, and wore his "C" proudly.
This photo was removed from Shea after the final game in 2008 and then authenticated by MLB. It was later auctioned by MeiGray. The photo comes with a numbered MLB authentication sticker as well as a MeiGray Letter of Authenticity. please refer to the photos below and feel free to ask any questions. I am located in New York City, and for obvious reasons, this is only available by pick-up. I'm asking $350 but am open to serious offers that are close.
