THANKS...Can also be seen in April Pick-Ups. I have it photo matched a TON in 2008, but just recently was able to match to 2007 in AAA Louisville due to matching serial number by Rawlings on backside. I can only assume that he used during his MLB stint in 2007.

That's a great glove, and just the use indicates that it was a multiple-year mitt. How much is something like this worth?

I take great pleasure in seeing your collection, Himes. What you have put together from the Camden Yards game where he hit HR#100 and 101 and his 600th hit is simply amazing. I think the best way initially to contribute to your thread is with the 600th hit ball, which was MLB authenticated when thrown in the dirt to Rolen on the next pitch.

High resolution photos attributed to the 600th hit confirm that he used your bat for the 600th hit has well.

I hope your thread takes on a life of its own with numerous collectors sharing.

                  Go Reds!

I am always interested in Joey Votto items, and would like to know what older "hit balls" are out there. Votto hit balls are the epicenter of our collection.

                    Re: Joey Votto Player Collection

There has been discussion on our forum about alternate gloves to which use in the '06 Futures Game had been implied by inscriptions and/or provenance letters. This glove, displayed at the Reds Hall of Fame next to the Walk Off Grand Slam Mothers Day Jersey is photo matched to Getty image 71404082. The final score of the Yankees game on the Scoreboard in the background assures the photo was taken during the actual '06 Futures Game. The photo is factually not from warmups as the '06 MLB Futures Game began before the Yankees game went final.

Joey Votto's 2010 MVP Season glove.....Photomatched to several Getty images. In this pic Votto is biting off a lace on the glove which looks bit off on glove.
