Louisville Slugger Branding/Engraving Question

Hey guys. Can someone either tell what year LVS started or stopped their laser engraving of name/teams? It was mentioned to me that is was exclusive to 2004 but I'm trying to verify that. It's definitely a cleaner marking & different font. If this has already been discussed please point me in the right direction. I did a few forum searches & didn't find it immediately. Thank you.

To the best of my knowledge, it was 2004 and 2005. I have samples from both seasons.
