    MiLB Auctions

MiLB Auctions currently has a bunch of Colorado Springs Sky SoX GU jerseys for auction right now and they are willing, for $35, to change out the name plate for any of the players that have worn that particular jersey over the past four years. Is this a normal practice?

    Example:
Always on the lookout for Garin Cecchini game used items especially Greenville Drive and Salem Red Sox jerseys.

I had Myrtle Beach do that for anyone who actually wore the jersey. The one I bid on a few years ago already had the name I wanted on there though. I think one of the Cincinnati MiLB teams did the same for me too.

      They didn't charge EXTRA though.

If they have all of the past nameplates in stock, you may want to offer to buy the jersey as is and have them throw in the old nameplates with the jersey. I'd imagine that the $35 fee is to cover removing the current nameplate and sewing the old one on for you.

        Best of luck!
