Charles Woodson Game Used Jersey GF

Did anyone on the board win this jersey? If so, congrats! It truly is a great piece and probably one of the most desired University of Michigan game worn jerseys out there! This is one of my white whale jerseys. I thought it was destined to be mine as I was thinking of what to sell to come up with the funds. I went on a business trip last week, stopped by the casino to play poker. I won a table share of a 108K bad beat jackpot ($3373). Now if I would've been on the "losing" end of the hand and pocketed the $54K, I could've bid slightly higher! :p

I can understand if someone doesn't want to publicize they are the new owner but if you're ever looking to sell, please let me know.

Just wondering, but the pictures that GF provided in the auction show quite a bit of use (grass stains/other stains), yet the jersey auctioned looks perfectly clean?
Dunno... It may be better that you didn't go for this jersey IMO.

I know the guy that owned the jersey previously. He is on the wash and wear side of the fence regarding jerseys. I would prefer mine as it came off of the field but with the photo matching of the mesh holes, I'm confident it is the real deal and still would love to own it. He knows who purchased the jersey so hopefully when they are ready to sell, I can get in the mix before it goes to auction. I hate those buyer's premiums!!!

Well, in case the person that bought it is on the forum, I technically do not know who they are. I know the seller who happens to know the buyer. I know it probably seems trivial but I don't want the buyer to think the seller betrayed any confidences. :D

Yeah, adding that piece to my collection would be pretty darn nice. Thanks Nickacs!!! If you want to give me a game used Jordan jersey to bolster my collection, I wouldn't mind that either!!! :p

Thanks Dan! I truly appreciate it. He reached out to me. I'm truly glad the Woodson found a great home! I know that sounds kind of cheesy but it is true. Well my collection is all over the place. I have a set of authentic Fab Five autographed jerseys. Not game worn but it was a fun getting them signed. We went to school there at the same time and I had season tickets. As far as game used, I only have a Jake Ryan #90 2011 throwback from the game against MSU. I haven't posted the pics yet and got it from a fellow board member. I've looked at your collection before. You have some seriously great stuff! Do you get most of your items from the U of M garage sale?
