Re: Jason Taylor ebay
Haha I got all excited the first time this jersey was listed (about 3 months ago?) by the same seller..... Then remembered seeing woodys on the forums. This seller has had a lot of fins issued jerseys listed as gamers the past few months. Unless you have a clear photomatch on one of his jerseys I'd steer clear.Comment

Re: Jason Taylor ebay
Yes. That jersey is not game worn as Woody states.
A while back, I purchased that jersey when it went as "game issued"
When the jersey arrived. There were stains and other residues on the jersey for it to be game issued. Seller stated it could be game worn and I told him couldn't be because a forum member owns it.
I returned the jersey back to the seller.
Few months later, I saw the Taylor jersey back on eBay with new marks to claim it as game used
Hope this helps.Comment

Re: Jason Taylor ebay
Wow this guy has some balls. I've only ever seen a few 2002 anni jerseys hit the market. Woody I know for one thing has a real one.
Woody did you catch J.T rocking the same jersey you have at the new uniform unveil. I thought it was pretty cool.

Re: Jason Taylor ebay
I just picked up a Jason Taylor from 2004 when he wore the jersey against the Jets on November, 1. He may have also worn it against the Patriots three (3) weeks earlier but since the cert is from the Jets game, that is what I'll use.
Of interest is the wear - not a whole lot. Using the Jets game as a barometer, Jason had a sack and was in one two (2) tackles so where's the wear? It does have a few loose threads on the numbers and there is some wear to the numbers but other than the jersey is free from any rips and/or tears. And, its does not smell.
I am not defending the jersey on eBay - I am using this thread just as a example. I really think that too much emphasis is placed on whether or not a jersey and/or helmet shows wear to determine as to whether or not its authentic.
Just a thought.Comment
