Need help from the Raiders helmet pros

OK, I picked this helmet up last week at an antique mall in Sacramento California. Thought it was a store helmet with a custom mask till I picked it up and looked at it. Helmet is a Medalist Gladiator and is dated Oct 1982 and is a size 7 1/2 to 7 7/8 and has an oversized liner. Mask has been cut and is dated EHC(May, 1983) and has a green dot. Bike Chinstrap. Helmet shows definite use. The helmet was in a booth style mall so the owner was not there to question. The seller did not have any other sports items and The price was unbelievable.

When I paid for it, the cashier commented that he had never seen it and couldn't believe how cheap it was(it was cheaper than a store bought pro-line). My question is, What the heck do I have??? I already own a Howie Long helmet and jersey from his last season(1993) so I am not really interested in keeping it. Any help would be appreciated.

Dont know anything about it but it does look like one cool helmet !!

Helmet shell is nice. It has been repainted with modern silver paint. Raider decals are reproduction modern decals and not what the team used. Probably worth what you paid just for the shell, mask, and original Bike chinstrap.
