    Trout G/U batting gloves question?

This is my first post I am fairly new here and been collecting a few years. I had a question about the signature on these game used gloves. On the glove on the right I noticed that "12" looks weird and it seems to have three dark pressure dots in the the #2. Also the glove on the left #27 looks like a blob. I have another pair I obtained directly from Trout's game used dealer and it did not have this "dots" in the #2 and the #27 was clear. The seller I bought the pair in question did say though he got them from the same source I got my first pair. Can anybody give me their option when looking at these gloves and both signatures of if you think they are legit? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I'd say that you never know how a player is going to sign something. He may have been rushing, could have been signing for a while and his hand was tired or whatever. I'd be more concerned with the fact that the signature is fading and knowing for sure that it's game used. After all, if someone is going to forge an autograph I'm sure they'd forge something game used.

Thanks for the response. The reason i am concerend about the signature is because it i figure it the signature it legit with signed G/U then the gloves are should be also. Again, thanks for your response. If anybody else has any info or thoughts about these gloves i am open ears, thanks .

I honestly think those dots are just stop points from his autograph and the auto has faded out I hate that about white gloves signed in blue Sharpie they always fade out I have some Gary Sheffield game used Jordan batting gloves and they are also faded out. I wouldnt be worried.

Did you get a COA with them? If they were sourced from Trouts GU dealer, you'd think they'd come with a COA.

That pair was sold by me directly to the eBay member who sold them to the OP. They are legit and there should be a COA accompanying them. Picture attached of the gloves from prior to original sale earlier this year, showing the same signature smudging from when he stopped with the sharpie.

As additional reference for you, here are a pair of Rookie batting gloves in the upcoming SCP Auction.

You can see the signature has the same sort of consistency and ink flow as your pair, so likely from the same original signing session.
