Many of you are experienced collectors so I value your opinion(s) so I have a question. Frank Thomas will be signing at the end of the month in Chicago and I purchased my Premium ticket. I have 2 very cool and unique items and I cant decide which one for him to sign:
The first item I have is a High School yearbook from his Junior year showing him playing sports, in the class picture and with a quote in the year book that he was credited saying.
The second item I recently purchased from Steiner, is the HUGE white sox logo that was displayed on top of the visitors dugout from old yankee stadium, and was put there when the White Sox were playing.

Both of these I think are cool, but which would you recommend I get signed by Frank Thomas? Thanks

I have been to soxfest 15 years straight and have seen frank about 20 times or more at signings in Chicago. From my experience he signs his auto appropriate to the piece. Usually bigger the piece bigger the sig. I have had nothing but good experiences with the big hurt. I'm sure if you ask him to sign real big he will. Especially since your paying more money for the premium sig.

Big Frank is one of the coolest and friendliest stars I've ever met. He was the reason I became (and remain) a Sox fan. Just ask him for a big autograph. I can see him having fun signing that HUGE logo. Good luck.

I think it would be more unique to have him sign a can of his Big Hurt Beer! Maybe he'll be giving out free samples at the TriStar show...

I got this done not to long ago. It's 20x25 and he put I decent sized sig on it.

I got that poster too. Great big hurt picture. I have his high school and college yearbooks too. They are pretty cool.

Agreed. The only time I've ever see him adversarial was once when a few dealers that were at the park were obviously loading up on him. For the real fan and/or collector, he is among the best of his era.

I told you Frank is a really cool, friendly person. That's awesome that he let you outline his hand. Hey, can you show a pic of the sig that he gave you on that sox logo?

She didn't sign it. She just outlined his hand.
