    Unwashed Game Worn NFL Jerseys

Anybody have any tips for making jerseys not smell without washing them. I have one that is really, really bad.

There are some prior threads posted on here with tips how to handle this issue. Look in the "Search" box for these.

For mine hanging them outside in the fresh air several days really helps and i have taken dryer sheets and balled one up for each arm pit area of the jersey...after airing out several days then I display on a mannequin with the dryer sheets - brand we use is Bounce placed in the sleeves...not visible and with the fresh air really diminishes the game smells.

Tom's correct. Leave it out doors for a few days. I got rid of cigarette smell from a jersey I bought from a bar this way. And cigarette smell is the hardest to get rid of.
