    What is a LS C271 S?

I am looking at a bat that is LS C271 S. I have never seen this before. Is this a store model?

    Thanks,

    Glen

    Re: What is a LS C271 S?

Glen, a C271S is a C271 model with a smaller knob than is typical for the C271 model. You'll sometimes see bats like I13L, which is an I13 with a larger-than-normal knob... thus the "S" and the "L" at the end.

The C271 is a very common model and can be purchased at the retail level (C271 Pro Stock). Don't know if the C271S is sold retail.

Would have to see the bat in question to give you a better-informed answer, but a C271S could be a "real" bat. I know Jim Edmonds often uses a C271S.

    Hope that helps.
