Preventing Game Used Bats from Further Cracking

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but is there anyway to prevent further cracking of game used bats? Is this even an issue that I should be concerned about?

I have a few bats that are cracked pretty good and want to prevent it from further cracking completely in half

Depending on the severity of the crack you may want to wrap tape (bat tape or gauze type not clear shipping tape like some Steiner bats come with) around the crack. Don't do things like drop the bat ,etc which would cause more damage and risk breaking the bat into two pieces. Unless you drop or handle it in the wrong way the crack should not get any bigger over time.

Hate to overstate the obvious but do to swing bat or crack may complete
Some standard h-shaped cracks may take a lot of force to complete but others may give with surprisingly little force
