Packers Wilson Football Tagging?

Hey everyone

Does anyone know if Wilson Football jerseys from the early 1980s should have number sizes like 48 etc? Or were some used in the L XL sizes as well for game action?

I am specifically referring to the Wilsons used by the Green Bay Packers of that era.

The folks at mearsonline have a year by year breakdown of the Packers manufacturers which is quite comprehensive, pointing out that according to their information Wilson jerseys were last used around 1959-60. Shout out to them.

I sent an inquiry to Historic Auctions about their John Jefferson Packers game used jersey which according to the photos was made by wilson

I asked what information their authenticator used.

***FOOTNOTE TO THIS- I WAS ALERTED THAT THE WILSON PHOTO DOESN'T MATCH THE TAG IN THE SECONDPHOTO ABOVE- IT LOOKS LIKE THERE'S A SAND KNIT TAG IN THE SECOND PHOTO AND THEY HAVE PUT IN THE WRONG CLOSE UP SHOT. SEEMS LIKE THE JEFFERSON IS ACTUALLY A SAND KNIT JERSEY***
