The Jim Thomas Letter of Opinion is typed on the back of a Stahls' receipt.

Thanks for the link. This has to be the first time his letter of opinion has been posted on here. After looking up some past posts there is no doubt he customizes jersey's.

Are there any real Jordan Olympic jerseys in the hobby? Seems like they would bring more than 30 grand.

The photo of MJ seems to have a more pronounced vertical arch on the "USA" than the offered jersey.

The neck line also seems to be a much tighter 'V.'

The UDA cert is all you need.

It verifies the signature as real, but also excludes any chance of the jersey being game used - read their cert, last line:

"This item is NOT a Limited Edition".

If this was Game Used, it would absolutely be a Limited Edition. Even if Jordan wore a new jersey every quarter of every game, what would there be be 20-25 total jerseys?

This is a UDA jersey (of which probably a few hundred were made - hence NOT a Limited Edition) that these yahoos are trying to get over on someone.

I've never seen UDA let anyone bring in an item that UD didn't source for a UDA signing, and if it was GU, UDA would have listed it as such.

The UDA COA is for the signature only being signed at his camp - Every items signed at the same says it is not a limited edition as it is a UDA certified publicly autographed item that they didn't limit.

All campers and councilors get an autograph at the camp that UDA gives a generic COA with. It could be a limited edition item or not but the COA reads the same.

This is correct ^^^.

Maybe Jim Thomas could chime in here and provide some insight on the jersey and his authentication letter. He is a GUU member (userid: softrock):

His one and only post was in April 2011 - You think this will get him to make his second post?

LOL, nice find Mickey...

Yea, there were a couple of these so-called "game worn" jerseys in Huggins & Scott auctions during 2012. I think there was an MJ #45 jersey, this '84 Olympic one and another 1 or 2 MJ's. All came with a Jim Thomas "LOA" certifying their game use. LMAO!

Here's the link to the same '84 MJ Olympic one you found on Ebay that was on H&S auction last year (UDA# matches, as well as both letters and autograph placement). Seems like some poor sucker paid $4k for it:

The neckline does not match the sharp "v" neckline in the photos posted of MJ wearing USA jerseys. It's not only not the jersey shown in those photos, it's not even the same style.
If it really is game used, MJ Olympic jersey, I would say its worth $100,000 or more at auction, don't you think?
