Getting an AUTO off Tackle twill...

Ok, I know this might be an impossible feat, but has ANYONE ever had any luck getting an autograph off a TACKLE twill jersey number? I am SOOO sick of autographs on GAME used jerseys...

I am afraid you are out of luck.

My friend's family owns a drycleaner and he says that you could try a proffesional clean, but if the auto was done in sharpie, the color of the fabric will bleed and bleach out before the sig will disappear.

I once had the opportunity to buy a jersey I really liked BUT the player signed it on the number notating it with the different number he was then wearing with another team. I checked with some folks who had a lot of experience removing autos from jerseys and I was advised not to attempt removing from a number. I passed on the otherwise nice jersey.
