Any input on why the wash tag would be removed from a MLB authenticated jersey from this year (Rockies). It just makes no sense.everything else is right on with it. If it wasn't MLB authenticated then of course I would know why. Any ideas ??

Re: Question For Dave Miedema
Not to step on Dave's toes, but maybe it itched the player's side and he removed it himself? I've heard of this happening before.
Has this happened with any other identifiable jersey from the player in question? It may be a player trait.

Re: Question For Dave Miedema
Puig's reasoning makes sense. Such actions aren't commonplace among players, but they can happen.

Re: Question For Dave Miedema
For what it's worth, I have a 2011 Carlos Beltran game used jersey MLB authenticated and photomatced to several games. You can see where the wash tag originally was, but it has been removed.Collecting Cardinals jerseys and bats, with a focus on Yadier Molina, Matt Holliday, and Adam Wainwright.
