I believe the manufacturer is the correct one, although I'd have two questions:

1) Is David Wright small enough to take a size 44?

2) Did MLB authenticate this set of jerseys?

The jersey for sale is not the same as the one David wore in that picture. The "y" does not match. In addition, that era jersey most definitely would have originated from Locker Room Memorabilia and Emol had david inscribe all of his gamers.

This is not David Wright's jersey. He NEVER wore a size 44 on field.
