Start a thread with GU item for the corresponding Month/Day

To spin off from the jeryey number game thread, do you think it would be a good thread to start where game used items that were/are authenticated or photo matched to that particular month and day?

For example, I have a pair of game used cleats worn by Eric Hinske in the Rays 1st ever playoff game on October 2, 2008. So on that month and day on the chalender, post pics of items that pretain the that month and day and update it daily if possible. The hope would be that one could located authenticated game used items from that specific day in a flowing order.

I know some member's collect game used baseballs on the date that their kids were born, so that thread may have value for some people.

Perfect timing for this thread - if anyone has anything from October 2, 2009, I am interested in buying. Today is my son's 4th birthday and we collect as many items from that day as possible.

Just took a look around. Also have a dozen other Mets balls from 10/2/09, 6 Red Sox gu balls (2 signed by Ortiz), the Phillies lineup card and some other random stuff from around the league.

Last October 2nd Raul Ibanez hit a pinch hit homer in the 9th inning to tie the game and then an RBI single in the 12th to beat the Red Sox. My son and I were there for our last game of the season, it was the first walk off win we had ever been to together. Here is a bad picture of our little display but it has our tickets, the Yankees lineup card and Raul's batting helmet from that night. We also have 2nd base from the game but that isn't in the picture.
