I am very surprised that wasn't found by some of the national dealers. That would go for $6,000-$8,000 in REA. Of course, if I'm so smart, why didn't I purchase it and do just that. It would be soo nice to have a slush fund with about $10,000 grand in it that we could just grow via buy and sell. Cherry pick what we love and move the rest. I'm convinced you could build a fabulous collection in that manner. I wouldn't want to make a living doing that, but for hobby enjoyment, it couldn't get much better.

Mike, I can't tell you how many times I've thought about something like that....especially when I see things on ebay and then a few months later I see the same items go for 2-5X in an auction house auction. Just this past April there was a boxed Dizzy Dean child's uniform set that sold on ebay for $400...the same set in the same condition was in the REA auction at the same time and it went for $1200. It seems like there are at least 20 items in each new Mastro Classics auction that I recognize as recent ebay buys.

Right you are Dan. I've seen many items for sale from different dealers off ebay as well. Hey, they are smart for doing it.
