I am a collector of Cincinnati Bengals Game Used Equipment, primarily jerseys and helmets.

I wanted to create a thread that showcases some spectacular Bengals game used memorabilia -- and no, not just from one family's collection. I personally would love to see unique items I haven’t seen before from prideful collectors. If your items are for sale, use e-mail (plettner at fuse dot net).

I buy special items when I can. But please do not abuse the proper etiquette of this forum and post on the thread merely to draw attention to items you plan to sell. All items posted here by me are posted only with the express consent of their owners, with equal discretion to their owners taste, and are not for sale.

Here is the jersey rookie Giovani Bernard wore on Halloween 2013 when he performed plentiful tricks and accomplished two rushing TD treats. The later is already being heralded as "Touchdown of the Year". Here are videos of TDs 1 and 2. Also see this funny recreation.

The TDs were Gio's 3rd and 4th career rushing TDs (5th and 6th overall).

He signed and inscribed the jersey eight days later. Much like the run, the signature was a process. First going over the autograph a 2nd time. Then later, writing over his own inscription. A perfect gentleman all the while.

It's trashed with rips, holes and facemask transfers.
I have a positive photo match of the 2 holes on the back against the Browns.
I suspect he wore his in 3 different games in 2005.
Yellow face mask transfers from Washington and black ones from Phili.

Here is AJ Green's jersey worn one year ago today, Veterans Day 2012.

The Bengals brought a four game losing streak into their game against the defending Super Bowl Champions and started a dramatic turnaround. They whipped the favored Giants 31-13 and rode a 7-1 record through the later half of their season to the playoffs... the 2nd consecutive berth behind Dalton and Green.

This appearance was also the 8th of 9 consecutive 2012 games in which AJ Green scored a receiving touchdown, a Bengals record. 2012 marked AJ's second Pro Bowl and first All Pro recognition.

Calling this "at least Five-Quarters of a Geno Atkins Gamer" would not be intended to portray missing or extra material... Rather, my research suggests this is probably the jersey that was damaged and repaired from the 2011 game at Baltimore and then ripped from his body early in the 2nd quarter at Pittsburgh. Between the war stories it appears to tell and resulting indication it was on Geno when he sacked Joe Flacco, the jersey is a sight to behold.

2011 was Geno's first Pro Bowl. He was also voted 1st Team All-NFL by Pro Football Focus, but was not heralded with his first "All Pro" designation by the Associated Press until the following season.

Cool stuff....one of my favorite items I have in my collection is a team issued Boomer Esiason away jersey (new uni style)...a very unique item as Boomer did not wear that uniform as a member of the Bengals. I am a JETS fan and collector primarily but also a big Esiason fan as well. I have his JETS away and home game jerseys as well as the Bengals. My only wish is that it was a home black jersey instead of away white but regardless a nice jersey and one of my favorite items.....

Ken Anderson played his entire career as a Cincinnati Bengal is generally believed by Bengal fans to be an absurd snuff from the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Anderson lead the Bengals to their 1st Super Bowl (SBXVI), besting Dan Fouts and the Chargers 27-7 in the AFC Championship "Freezer Bowl" along the way. Boomer Esiason's charisma may have endeared him even more with Cincinnati than leading the Bengals to another Super Bowl (SB XXIII). One of the unique things about this gamer is that the alteration tags have handwriting on them, in the same penmanship as I've also seen on jerseys of common players.
