1967 Saints Jim Taylolr Durene Game Jersey

Picked this up recently from a longtime Saints collector. Checks out but I would like any input from vintage durene jersey collectors on the board. Do to the extreme scarcity of this year Saints jerseys I have not seen enough to be 100% sure it's a JIm Taylor gamer. Thanks for any help, Chuck.

Looks like the Saints may have had used different fonts for their jerseys in their early years. I've added some scans.

    NICE JERSEY

That is an authentic Taylor. The Saints only used that style in 67 and 68 and Taylor only played in 67. Jim Taylor and Dr Gary Cuozzo sported the fat font jersey at times but also the skinny. I took this photo at a Saints post-superbowl display where this jersey was just laying on a table and anyone could have walked away with it. The guards were on the Lombardi trophy and the Brees jersey. Hopefully nobody took it.

The Saints used the old gamers at practice so few survived. I saw a very ragged #83 at a Saints game last year.

I liked the durene alot and knowing I could never find one so I made my own. The wife wears them and gets lots of compliments. So for the record the two below are FAKE FAKE FAKE!!
