So, I know a hot topic has been how to display catcher's gear. This is what I came up with since I don't have room to use an entire mannequin or something similar. What I did was mount wooden dowels to the wall for each piece of equipment. I still plan to paint the dowels red to match the wall. Let me know your thoughts and/or suggestions. Thanks!

Not bad... not bad at all.

Looks sweet! Although, it does get lost on the red wall a bit.
Still, very inovative idea. Good job!

I will post a pic when I get a chance, but i had a very short wall inbetween two doors and I placed the gear from top to bottom in the order it would be worn. Hangs really nicely too. No framing needed.

AMGMAP -

Nice gear... looking at your space thoug, you could easily fit a mannequin there. How deep is the bookcase nest to the gear?

Here is my vintage Nokona gear (now on a vintage wood Mannequin).

Michel Hernandez 2009 game used catcher's gear from tampa bay rays. Each piece is MLB authenticated.

Thanks Smitty, my photo is bad, just took it realy quick this morning.

The width of that short wall was perfect otherwise i would have displayed it differently. It is nice too becuase even though the gear sticks out a little, it is still flat enough that I never rub against it when i walk past it.
