Hello,
Up for sale today is Francisco Cervelli's game worn jersey from July 9th, 2011. On July 9th, 2011, Derek Jeter became the first New York Yankee to ever collect 3,000 hits all in a Yankee uniform. He was also just the second player in major league history to get his 3,000 hit with a home run.
Cervelli did not play during the game but if you look at the photos he was suited up in THIS jersey when the players celebrated on the field and gave Jeter a hug. This jersey was also used for several games after July 9th up until it was collected by on July 29th. During this time Cervelli also caught a Rivera save and collected many hits. Jersey does show good use from several games with some fraying on the numbers. This jersey does come with both MLB and Steiner hologram. I DO NOT have the steiner letter!
