Opinions..GU shoulder pads?

In one of the current auctions I see that GU shoulder pads are being offered for bid? What's the desirability, the worth, the market etc. for pads?
I know it obv depends on who the player is, the game(s) etc. But I'm asking in general.
For ex, say the players jerseys go for 5k, shoes 2k ( very random numbers) what price would you put on the pads?

Also, how exactly do you display them? I asked some friends who barely appreciate GU. They do think jerseys are cool, helmets somewhat but have abs NO interest in the pads.

Saw a pair of Giants pads go for about $80 last month, no player assigned.

I had a pair that I wired up and hung off the ceiling in a corner with no issues. Looked great beside display cases too.

It is very hard to gauge because they do not come up for sale often enough.

I believe they're Lawrence taylors. How much for a big name star is reasonable? Say Tomlinson, luck, ray rice as examples. Hard for me to put a number on it. Thx for your opinions

I think considering the auction they will go for 1500 to 2000 maybe more since his legit items are hard to come by.

The only thing that bothered me about them if I was gonna bid is that the "56 Taylor" looks pretty vibrant for being used especially considering they would be rubbing against a sweaty body or shirt. I do not doubt these where worn by Taylor I just think the "56 Taylor" was probably added after the pads had no longer been used.
