Leafs GU Jersey

Hey, this is my first post on this site. Thanks for the mods for accepting me! I have been a card collector for over 20 years, but just recently added my first game-used jersey and LOVE IT. Already scouting for my next one.

Would like some help on value of this one though.

I was able to get this Toronto Maple Leafs jersey that is certified by MLSE as being worn by Phil Kessel in the 2013 playoffs vs Boston. According to MLSE it is the only sweater Kessel wore in the away games in Boston (1,2,5,7).

I have a feeling I paid far less for it than it would sell at auction. I would like to have some opinions about what this would sell for in a consignment auction for insurance purposes.

Congrats, and welcome! I can't speak to its potential value, but you should be able to find plenty of great resources here on the forum.

I would guess about $2500 at auction. There are some major league Leafs collectors over at gameworn.net who would probably be the best people to answer that question, though. They may post over here as well. Nice jersey (and that is coming from a Bruins fan!)!
