I was shipped a 2005 Pedro Martinez Mets jersey that was supposed to be game used. I was concerned about the size and tagging on the jersey so I called Paul Schwartz with the Mets. Paul took time out of his day to email me 9 different pictures of Pedro "real" game used jerseys.
I compared them to the jersey I had in hand and decided that it was not a good match.
Paul, thanks for your assistance! Andrew

Can you post some photos of the sleeves of the jersey? What specific problems did Paul point out about the jersey?
Thanks Andrew!

Rob - He had never seen a "Set +" before and the size was questionable at a 44. Possible it was early season. If you want it, let me know before I ship it back.

Without the customized sleeves, it's at best a "bench worn" Pedro jersey. Between that fact and the size question your Mets contact mentioned, I'd send it back for a refund. It might be good, but there are too many Pedro Mets shirts out there with the custom sleeves to settle for one that has question marks.
Good detective work.

Great informative thread. Where was the original purchased sized 44 Set + bought from? Did they offer an explanation? Thanks again

Gyro123 - It came from a friend of Pedro's. My contact is very reliable so I am sure it came from Pedro but not worth me spending $1,500 on a questionable gamer.
