Penn State Football Game Worn Items

I am waiting for my first Penn State football game worn jersey to arrive in the mail. It has an amazing back story to it, and I have yet to find anything comparable from the era. I will post pictures and the story when it arrives.

Figured I would start up a Penn State Football thread and see what is out there.

Here are a couple pictures of my new addition. This jersey was purchased directly from the former head equipment manager of Alabama who obtained it through a trade with the Penn State equipment manager before the 1979 Sugar Bowl. The jersey dates to the 1975 season by the style of the numbers. I believe this jersey may have also been worn by Joe Lally during the 1976 season. Has good wear in the form of impact marks, un-repaired holes, and some staining.

Yeah it was Ottie that I got it from. I spoke with him at length on the jersey and was really happy to be able to buy it. Great guy!
