Game Used WBC Items

Does anyone know where game used WBC items end up? I know Highland Mint gets a bunch of jerseys and locker nameplates. How about bats? I would guess that MLB gets that stuff, but I haven't seen a whole lot pop up. I know MLB auctions sells some, but I know there's more items out there. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know how they get out, but a buddy of mine secured and then traded to me a Carlos Gonzalez (Cargo) GU 2013 WBC bat. It's the one he broke in half for a single in one of the games.

I can post pics and MLB Authentication number later if you want to see it.

Well either MLB for most high end items, people with close connections, the player themselves, or to a shop that bought their GU gear rights.

I believe it goes back to the player's team as the Giants Team Store had about 3-4 jerseys from players that were on the Giants. (Although it could also be because AT&T park hosted a few games...)
