Darryl Tapp Seahawks jersey on eBay

I've seen a Tapp Seahawks jersey on eBay listed by seller "helenskid" - looks good in all respects etc it was cut off the player (?) then re-sewn up the front between the "55" - she posted two pictures to better show it.

I've not encountered this…has anyone else? As many know I've been pairing player jerseys with their helmet so this would look nice displayed with his game worn helmet.

Yes I own 2 Seahawks gamers like that a Julian Peterson and a Shaun Alexander. It was probably cut off the player then re sewn.. Both of mine came direct from the pro shop.

A jersey being cut off down the front and then resewn is not common, but it DOES happen, on occasion. I wouldn't let that worry me.

Here is another example. This was actually more common than you would think with Seattle. At one point the team shop had 6 or 7 jerseys completely ripped down the middle including 2 Julian Peterson's. Eventually they where heavily discounted. I paid 135.00 for my Peterson marked down from 600.00.

Sorry bout that! Got a set of Tapp signed gloves if your interested would let them go cheap. Been wanting one of those cut down jerseys.
