Hi...from my research this appears to be a 1965 team signed, Cowboys ball. Possibly a 1966 as it has Tony Liscio (which I believe didn't play for the boys in 1966?) Any help would be appreciated. Also, an approx market value would be helpful to.

The sigs I can read are: Tony Liscio, Jim Boeke, Cornell Green, George Andrie, Don Bishop, Frank Clarke, Jim Covin, Mike Connelly, Buddy Dial, Perry lee Dunn, Mike Gaetcher, Pete Gent, Chuck Howley, Harold Hays, Mitch Johnson, Lee Roy Jordan, Jake Kupp, Warren Livingston, Obert Logan, Dave manders, Ralph neely, Pettis Norman, Jethro Pugh, Mel Renfro, JD Smith, Don Talbert, Larry Stephens, Jerry Tubbs, Danny Villanueva, Russell Wayt, AD Whitfield, Craig Morton and Maury Youmans.

Thanks!

Chris,

Your research was accurate. This is most definitely from the 1965 season. A quick glance of one of the panels reveals the signatures of Don Talbert and Bob Hayes. After the 1965 season concluded, Talbert was signed by the expansion Atlanta Falcons for their inaugural season in 1966. Hayes was a rookie in 1965. That alone pinpoints the ball to being exclusively from 1965 as it cannot be from a prior season because of Hayes' signature, and cannot be from a later season because of Talbert's signature.

Another panel reveals the signature of A.D. Whitfield who was a rookie in 1965 and played in only two games that season before moving on to Washington for the 1966 season. Also on that panel are Craig Morton and Jethro Pugh who were rookies in 1965. As in the previous paragraph, this locks it in to the 1965 season.

Hope this helps!

Chris,

I am no help on the market value as I am not an autograph or autographed ball collector.
