Thanks! Heritage sometimes blunders as do authenticaters.

I only have 2 game used Pujols bats from 2011. One was used late in the season with heavy pine tar. The other was used in the playoffs with light pine tar. He signed both as game used. Why is there such a pine tar difference between both bats?

Prob due to how long he had the bat. Check the date code. Most of his 2011 postseason bats were stamped 8/23/11 or later. I have seen 3 from the 8/23 batch used in the postseason and owned 2 both of which were the signature model and not block letter. He must've favored this batch for some reason. Have also seen a couple 10/1 or 10/3 stamp dates used in the postseason but these were the tan barrel/black handle versions.

I've emailed Heritage about the bat in question but have yet to receive a response.
