Video inside the Washington Nationals clubhouse

Washington, D.C. news, weather, traffic and sports from FOX 5, serving the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Watch breaking news live or see the latest videos from programs like Good Day DC.

Rarely do teams allow video into the backrooms of the clubhouse. This is a cool video inside the Spring Training clubhouse of the Washington Nationals.

The Washington DC sports reporter (Lindsay Murphy) doing the story married Tampa Bay Rays player Brandon Guyer.

In the video, they pull a Bryce Harper bat in the bat room and its a pounded Rawlings Big Stick.

Here's the only 2 bats I see Bryce swinging as seen in this Getty photo from this week. He's carrying Chandler and Marucci. It will be interesting if that Rawlings ever pops up!

Washington left fielder Bryce Harper , left, and shortstop Ian Desmond walk to the dugout to take batting practice before the Washington Nationals play the Atlanta Braves in grapefruit league...

It looks like they pulled that bat out of Span's box with the #2's on them. I wonder if he was using it.

Good pickup on that. Wouldn't be the 1st time another player was using his bats. Common with star players is that bat companies send them a few bats to try out and they give them to teammates and Minor Leaguers.
