A buddy of mine sent me a link to this auction.

This is a cull bat. During show and tell we brand junk bats with whatever is set up in the burn brander. The bats are then sold in the gift shop for $16 a piece. The bat pictured is Maple, so we would not have burn branded it. The end brand says C243 but the knob is a C271 style so it is most likely an I13. If we were to make a "prototype" for a player it is never left whole, it would have been destroyed.
So anyway I hope no one here was the winner of this auction.
