giambi did not wear this helmet. simply put, there is a card out there that has him wearing this style of helmet, it is a 2000 fleer ultra. player unknown.

Hi,

1. In 1999 they didn't TBTC to Philadelphia at all

2.They did in 2000, 2001,2009,2012, but never wore that batting helmet in those games. There are photos with clearly different helmets

3. They did play a 4th of July game in 1999, and the helmet fits the color scheme, but I don't have a photo of the helmet, just it matches my jersey

So by a process of elimination I believe it to be from the 4/7 game, if you are sure about the year.

PS. You might want to see the second sticky regarding no posting of items currently on sale on eBay. Just saw it there. Not my rules, just stating GUU rules.

As stated before,it was the 4th of July 1999 game.Always hoped to add Giambu's jersey from the game to my collection since it was the day I got married...oh,well..
