Pujols Square Tail In 2006?

It is my understanding that Pujols has a square cut on his 2006 jerseys. According to this Ebay sellers description and who is auctioning a 2006 jersey with a rounded tail, this is not the case. He references his facts about the rounded tails to the finest authenticator in the industry, Lou Lampson and a jersey he authenticated for American Memorabilia.

Can a Pujols or Cardinals jersey expert please provide some factual informaiton on this? Likewise, what is the actual size Pujols currently wears for his game jerseys?

while we're at it, can someone please comment on the double-stitching seen in the back number of the ebay jersey that howard posted?

should it be double-stitched or single-stitched?

Howard and Rudy,

2006 Pujols jerseys should all be size 50. They should also have custom hemmed straight tails. The stitching on the letters and numbers should be single stitched in blue, not double stitched. Jeff Scott and I just completed an updated Pujols Primer at the request of the Pujols Family Foundation, and this information will be included in that document. I'll keep the forum updated on when the PFF plans on releasing the new primer.

For reference, here's a shot of Pujols from All-Star week. You can see the straight hem at the bottom. You also can see this particular jersey has year tagging to the right of the size tag.
