Grail Pick Up - Harper Bat

Hey everyone! For those of you that know me, I'm a huge Nats fan and have been looking to find a game used Bryce Harper bat for some time now. His bats are near impossible to find and the bats that you do find, you better do your homework, just saying lol Anyway, through two great forum members (Andrew Lang and Scott Jackson aka 5toolplayer) I have been able to find my grail :D

I now have in my personal collection a 2013 Chandler bat used by Bryce that is PSA/DNA certified. The bat does have a handle crack, but there is no missing wood and displays beautifully!

I also might have photomatched it, what are your thoughts? (looking at the marks towards the end of the barrel and then there is a mark in the wood grain on the handle that matches up)

Hi, thought I'd try to help you out by looking at the MLB-TV broadcasts on the day of the Getty photo (9/12/13 v. Mets).

Harper used a two-tone Chandler in the 1st & 4th innings. He used an all-blonde bat (couldn't see the centerbrand) in the 6th & 8th.

Your bat is definitely not the one he used in the 4th inning - that's a signature model, not a block letter model.

Although there is no label view of the bat in the 1st inning, the pine tar pattern on the top of the blonde portion is the same as in the 4th inning.
