Identification help:1930s/40s Satin Baseball Jacket Jacket

No MFG tags. Heavyweight satin twill. BLANK BACK. I have seen baseball and basketball jackets of this style from this era. Does this font of the felt "A" look familiar to anyone?

    Thanks in advance!

could it be a 50s KC A's jacket? When they were red/blue? Whatever it is, it's sweet for sure!

I don't think so. The A logo is different than the one they used in 1961 (team colors red and navy) or 1963-81 (team colors gold and green). The top of the A is different, for one thing.

Yes, the "A" logo is different than Philadelphia. Would like to know the team that used this jacket. Great item, regardless.

True. I have never seen the 2-color scheme on the sleeve cuffs and collar.
Remember, I live in Los Angeles, where it is 100 degrees today and all this week. I will not be going outside or even think about wearing a jacket
