Hi Guys,

This thread is for North Carolina State Wolfpack football game worn memorabilia. Please post any game worn items on current or former Wolfpack football players. Also, please feel free to share any cool related stories or experiences.

It's been a while since I posted any items. I'll kick this thread off with a few recently acquired pieces. Both of these are complementary to the Mei Gray Group. Barry was an absolute pleasure to do business with!!

1) David Amerson Game Worn Washington Redskins Away Jersey vs Oakland Raiders. This jersey is a very historic piece as Amerson recorded his 1st Career INT and took it back to the house for 45 YD's for a TD.

2) David Amerson Game Worn Washington Redskins Throwback Uniform vs San Diego Chargers. This jersey is another very historic piece as Amerson recorded his 2nd Career INT against another former Wolfpack Alum, QB Philip Rivers.

1) TJ Graham Game Worn Buffalo Bills Jersey vs New York Jets on November 17, 2013. Graham recorded 2 catches for 74 YD's including a 34 YD TD pass from EJ Manuel. This was his 2nd Career TD Catch.

1) Stephen Tulloch Game Worn Detroit Lions Away Jersey vs Chicago Bears on November 10, 2013. Tulloch had 7 tackles and was given the game ball, named co defensive player of the game alongside Ndamukong Suh. NFL Auctions COA. Pounded with Use!! :). Photo Match visible with Black Markings on the top left and right of shoulder pads.

1) Koren Robinson 2006 NFL Pro Bowl Game Worn Jersey. Jersey is signed and inscribed "game used 2006 pro bowl". Jersey can be easily photo matched to small hole in left corner of the front of the jersey. This was the 1st and only NFL pro bowl game that Koren was apart of. He represented the Minnesota Vikings as a Kick Returner.

Purchased these jerseys through the New England Patriots Pro Shop last week. Jim with the pro shop was a pleasure to deal with. Was able to get these at a fantastic price! Mike Jones played in the NFL for 9 seasons, 4 seasons with the Pats!

1. Jerricho Cotchery Game Worn NY Jets Home 2009 50th Anniversary Jersey vs Houston Texans. Jersey is pounded with use and can be photo-matched easily to photos from the game.

2. Jerricho Cotchery Game Worn/Autographed & Inscribed NY Jets 2006 Helmet. J-Co wore this helmet during the December 3rd game vs the Packers and during the remainder of the 2006 season. Helmet can be easily photo matched to game against the Packers & Raiders. Helmet comes with J-co Hologram, PSI Hologram (Had player contract at the time) & JSA sticker.

Scott Kooistra Cinn Bengals 2004 game worn jersey. He was an OT in college at NC State starting every game his JR and SR seasons. He protected Philip Rivers in his SR season culminating with a win over Notre Dame in 2003 at the Gator Bowl. Drafted in 2003 by the Bengals and played with them thru 2009. Jersey shows light wear.

Tom, great looking Anthony Hill game worn Colts uniform. It displays very nicely and the photo matching looks spot on from the game against the Pats! What a shame on what happened to Scott Kooistra having that spinal injury.

Nick, Awesome Philip Rivers jersey! A Rivers game worn jersey is one of my grails and I hope to own one sooner then later! Were you able to track down which game the jersey is from?

Roman Gabriel was the closet to the Hall of Fame the Pack has had up to this point. Torry Holt should be able to get in after a couple of ballots. Rivers should be a sure thing!

I thought maybe Ted Brown a RB for NC State in the late 70's. He was a 1st round draft pick in 1979 - #16 by the Minn Vikings. Played with the Vikings from 1979 to 1986. Upon further investigation he was inducted in the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013.

Vin, thank you for the nice words! Indeed that Rivers' jersey is awesome…I too plan on adding one to my collection one day. I did not know about the injury to Kooistra, boy, I hate to learn that….Roman Gabriel…that would be an excellent choice. I agree with Vin, Torry Holt will be in one day.

As an aside - Roman Gabriel - that's a cool name for a QB I've always thought! I've met him twice…always engaging, signed a football for me and man, he had some stories from his playing days!

I do have the 2009 Cotchery Jets throwbacks from the 2009 season. The white Titans alternates that the Jets wore are still my favorite throwback uniforms in NFL history. Titans Navy jersey w/ helmet & pants worn against the Titans on Sept 27th and the Titans White alternate jersey w/ helmet & pants worn against the dolphins on Nov 1st.

Morning Vin, i had missed some postings…love those Jets helmets of Cotchery and the one for Koren Robinson…very, very nice…I was drooling…super collection you've amassed. I've two Manny Lawson Bengals jerseys and picked up a 2004 or 2005 Jets Cotchery recently…I know we've bid against other a time or two on NFL Auctions…I almost pulled the trigger on the TJ Graham Buffalo jersey but held off…I'll try to post some of mine this weekend.

Morning guys,

One of the top pieces in my collection. Game worn David Amerson jersey from the 2011 Belk Bowl - Amerson finished the game with 2 int's, including one that he returned for a TD. It was Amerson final game of the season and the jersey he broke the ACC record for INT's in a single season with 13. He was also an All American that season and now plays for the Redskins.

The jersey was washed and worn a few times by somebody before I got my hands on it. I was able to photo match the back of the jersey to the video from the game (loose threads from the nameplate matched).

Here are some of my NFL gamers…first two are Manny Lawson August 2011 #50 preseason jersey…nice wear and hit marks and the second one worn during Breast Cancer Awareness 10/14/2102 (N91418 PSA/DNA) #99 unwashed NIKE 2012 season gamer…thank goodness the game odor has subsided!

Here is a Carolina Cobras jersey won by #94 DT Alan Holloway. He was a JUCO transfer and started most games in 2003 for the Pack. The jersey is huge and has amazing sewn on advertisements…really gorgeous jersey from a Pack player and during the solid 8 and 4 - 2003 season.

Pretty sure several of you guys were bidding on this one against me. 2008 Papa John's Bowl game worn jersey by Markus Kuhn. Jersey is hammered, several team repairs and hit marks.

2004 game worn jersey by Stephen Tulloch. I was able to photomatch the jersey off the number hit marks to the photo in the 2005 media guide (about jumped out my skin when I did as I was literally the first place I looked and immediately matched it). Nameplate was removed. Jersey has several hit marks and a few team repairs.

Game Worn Tank Tyler #72 2004/2005 jersey. Jersey has some light hit marks on the numbers but is pretty clean. Also has "Tank" written on the tag - giving me assurance that it wasn't a Luke Lathan jersey.

Game worn away jersey from Taylor Gentry during the 2010 season. As one would expect the jersey is hammered with hit marks and team repairs including a really interesting one at the neck.

2007 game worn/game issued Owen Spencer jersey. Jersey show's real light wear - mainly just loose threads but since Spencer didn't see much during the '07 season that isn't unexpected.

Entire jersey is sewn on - which is unique to this style since only the 2007 season was like that.

Game worn 2004/2005/2006 Leroy Harris jersey. Jersey has several team team repairs and multiple hit marks. I have been unsuccessful in photomatching but have "style-matched it" since in multiple pictures from home games, Leroy removed the "Block S patch" at the collar.

Tom - Thanks for posting more picks of your NFL Pack Gamers! Love the Lawson Nike jersey and the Cotchery Jets 2004. I believe this was another auction we had went head to head on :). I luckily have 1 of his 04 rookie gamers so I bowed out. Nice additions!

Marks01234 - Your NC State game worn jersey collection is the best I've seen. That era of Tulloch and Tank Tyler were my favorite. I believe they had the #1 defense in the country at one time. That Amerson jersey is awesome! If ever interested in moving it, please do let me know.

I added his Redskins throwback uniform and Redskins Away jersey recently where he recorded his 1st and 2nd career NFL INT's.

JR Sweezy game used 2010 road jersey. Significant wear, hit marks and several team repairs. One of my favorite Wolfpackers.

This one is still a mystery. It's a #22 home jersey with solid game use - team repairs and hit marks. It's a size XL. It's tagged for the 2005 season but I've known those to be wrong on other jersey's.

My guess is that it belonged to LB Oliver Hoyte but it could also have been RB Toney Baker's. I've tried photomatching it both and been unsuccessful (although there really aren't many Hoyte pictures out there).

Any of you guys have any good places to look for photo matching NC State jerseys? I own most of the media guides, use getty images and USA Today. Also use accfootballphotos.com.

I have several jerseys with some good wear that I'd like to try to photo match (mostly from 2002 - 2010) but haven't been able to find very many pictures.

If you're not finding any pack photos on Getty or USA Today, you could check AP images, Iconic Sports Media, Corbis Images or even Flickr. I personally thing accfootballphotos has the best selection on pack photos as you mentioned before.

Needless to say, I am not a fan of the name plates being removed per NCAA regulation :).

Now any true NC State fan will appreciate this one. As you know, Andre Brown bounced around with multiple teams before finally sticking back with the New York Giants (who actually drafted him originally). Those teams included the Colts, Broncos, Browns and Redskins.

I picked up this Brown Redskins' jersey for real cheap - before it was apparent he was going to even stick in the league and was real proud of my "find". Brown never actually played in a game for the Redskins so I know it isn't game used - but he was on the active roster for a short stint.

Picked this Tank Tyler Panther's jersey up recently. Tank briefly played in Carolina following his stint in KC. He didn't make it out of the pre-season and the jersey is very clean - so it's almost certainly just Team Issued. Doesn't make it any less cool for me though.

Most certainly the "highlight" of my NFL collection. This jersey is really what fueled my game worn collecting habits and one of my top pieces.

Mario Williams, 2010 Home Texans jersey with the BCA patch. Jersey was worn against the Giants and I have several photomatched pictures and the NFL Auctions ID card.

Yea it is definitely a small world with us NC State collectors. I pretty sure we passed a few jersey's around over the past few years.

I was super-pumped about the Agnew jersey. I bought it for what I thought was a good price off ebay. I was the only bidder and wasn't expecting a whole lot from an older NFL jersey. Every NFL jersey I've owned at the time was from '09 onwards so I was pumped that Puma showed excellent quality and the jersey was kept in great condition. I didn't know it had the game use it did when I bought it either. Several nice team repairs. It remains the only jersey in my collection with team repairs on multiple colors.

I have a goal built around having an NC State alumni jersey from every NFL team. I have a lot of work to do but one that I do think is obtainable in time.

I completely agree with you Marks01234 and thanks so much for the kind words. I'm looking to pick up a Wilson jersey over the next few seasons. Don't get me wrong, i'm a huge fan of his but I have a feeling his stock will decrease slightly. There is a lot of hype right now around him. I don't see him putting up Manning or Brady regular season #'s ever but if he does, don't get me wrong I'd love it. I'm going to wait until his jerseys come back down to reality before I pull the trigger.

That Agnew Rams jersey is an awesome piece and totally agree with your comments on it. Looking forward to seeing more of your collection :).

I've been after an Adrian Wilson Game Worn Cardinals jersey for years now. Unfortunately, I lost out on a 2012 HOF Patch gamer on NFL Auctions last year and tried to work out a deal with a board member on a BCA gamer but was unable to. To say the least, this one was worth the wait.

Adrian Wilson Arizona Cardinals Home Game Worn September 11th Patch Jersey vs the Carolina Panthers. This one was won via NFL auctions and is absolutely hammered. This jersey is by far one of my favorites. Wilson is 1 of 6 NFL players in the history of the game to be apart of the 25/25 club, obtaining 25 interceptions and 25 sacks.

A pair of game worn Terrell Manning away jersey's. One with the nameplate is from the 2010 season, the one without is from the 2009 season. Both jersey's show good wear with some nice team repairs.

Here's on of my "projects".

It's a #91 home jersey from the 2004-2006 season with extensive wear. I was looking through the #91 jerseys in search of a Manny Lawson gamer at an NC State jersey sale and passed of this jersey several times because of the "06" tag. But after finally reviewing the jersey a little closer, I realized there is no way that Ted Larsen ever wore this jersey. It was noticeably smaller and tighter in the waist than any of the others. The sleeves were skill position cut, making it a much tighter fit than a typical lineman jersey (see the last picture for a 44L comparison between a lineman and skill position cut).

Needless to say, I've known the tagging on NC State jersey's to be way off anyway. I own several jersey's from this era that have been clearly re-tagged in later years and others that have tagged for previous years (which is completely strange).

The jersey is absolutely hammered. Multiple team repairs and hit marks. I thought at the time it would be a relatively easy photomatch but it has proven not to be. Obtaining NC State pictures from the 2004-2006 era is difficult and because each player was issued 3/4 jersey's it is real tough to make a clear photomatch. I've pretty much cleared that it wasn't from the '05 season because Lawson wore a lineman cut jersey that year. It may have been worn in the 2004 season or may have been something worn at a spring game - perhaps the game before the 2004 season.

So my searching continues but I don't expect to ever really be able to make the match. Doesn't change my view of the jersey though and it's one my favorite in my collection.

Game Worn/Issued Nate Irving #56 jersey from the 2006 season.

Jersey show's some real light use from Nate's first season with the Pack where he redshirted. Most likely a jersey that was used in warm-ups that year since Nate did not play. Of course the name plate was removed. Nate wore a white jersey in the '07 spring game and then '07 jersey's had the black bands for the VT shooting so I know it hasn't seen any real game action.

The 04-06 jerseys are quite the challenge to photomatch. I'll share some more jersey's I have from that era and my attempts to photomatch them.

As for the white Nate Irving jersey that was one ebay. I am familiar with the jersey and saw it was well. I probably would have picked it up myself if I didn't have the home jersey. I don't recall it having a tag (although tags are basically meaningless from that era). I suspect it was legit - although would be next to impossible to prove. Such a same that they removed all of the nameplates from all of those 04-06 era jerseys.

I have owned a Torry Holt game worn jersey in the past but had regretted selling it ever since. Recently picked up another Holt gamer and this one has some special meaning. This jersey was the product of an after game jersey swap from the Rams/Packers game on October 8th, 2006, between Holt & Koren. This jersey was acquired with paperwork directly from Koren.

Also I'm sorry for the very late reply to one of your postings earlier…yes, we were at the FSU game…great start and poor finish. We went to the State vs UNC Tar Heels game…WOW…what a great start and a very strong finish. The two favorite colors in the stadium at the start of the 3rd Q was Pack red and aluminum grey from all of the empty seats! Great day for the Pack and the Heels just fired their defensive co-ordinator.

TJ Grapham game used Military Appreciation Salute to Service gloves worn against Steelers on November 9th during the 2014 season. Graham caught a 67 yard touchdown pass from Michael Vick wearing these gloves.

One of my most cherished game worn helmets…a Tory Holt late 2001 season gamer! I've looked at a couple of his helmets over the years yet was never able to get comfortable. This one was obtained from a friend and fellow collector with impeccable provenance and he graciously sold it to me. I'm so thrilled…enjoy!

With the Panthers vs Seahawks game only hours away, I figured I'd post 2 of my newest pickups. I'm still in shock that I was able to find these back to back. Love the new Nike Panthers jerseys, especially with the 20th Anniversary patches!!

Jerricho Cotchery Game Worn Panthers Black Jersey vs Atlanta Falcons on November 16th. Cotch had 2 catches for 43 yards.

Its possible Cotch wore this jersey in multiple, if not all 3 games vs the Bears, Bengals & Packers when the Panthers wore the White in Oct. Jersey shows tons of use! Shout out to board member "RKGIBSON".

It was a pleasure to work out a deal with him on this Vaughan Johnson game used New Orleans Saints Helmet from the Reggie White Estate Collection. Super excited to add this helmet to my growing game worn NC State Alum Collection.

Helmet has tons of prominence as this was a gift from Vaughan to Reggie White. Reggie was a collector himself who often exchanged helmets with opposing players after games. Vaughan wore this during the entire 1991 regular season and 1991 Pro Bowl game. Helmet is hammered with use with tons of battle scars.

Vaughan was a member of the Saints legendary "Dome Patrol" defense alongside Sam Mills, Pat Swilling & Ricky Jackson in the late 80's and early 90's. Vaughan was also a standout linebacker at North Carolina State University.
