Did Pete Rose use a LS R211 bat around 1980 with the Phillies? Bat is not knobbed and 35 inches long. Thanks for the all the help.

Hi Greg--

H & B Model R211 was first manufactured to the specifications of Pete Rose in 1979 and was made " off of Adirondack 129A..."

You will find R211 Rose signature pro H & B bats from the 1977-79 labeling period with dimensions of 35" / 33.5 oz with a Hornsby Finish.

In 1980 - 83 period, lengths of Rose's R211 pro bats were 33.5, 34.5, and 35 inches with weights between 32 and 33.5 ounces, both wioth Hornsby finish and Wax finish.

In 1983 - 85 labeling period, lengths of Rose's R211 pro bats were 33.5", 34", 34.5", and 35', with weights between 32 oz and 33.5 oz. Finishes were natural, Wax, or No Finish during that period.

Good luck.
